- To ensure that all Flight Crew members are rostered in adherence to the current statutory regulations and company policies governing Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL) and Flight time Limitations (FTL).
- Prepare and forward a report of the Flight duty times in respect of all Flight Crew for each month to the GM FLT Ops, in the specified format.
- Ensure that the workload distribution among the Flight Crew members is equitable with a view to maximize Flight crew utilization.
- Furnish information in respect of feasibility and Flight Crew costing with regard to planning of new routes.
- Preparation of Flight Crew roster covering training requirements in respect of initial and recurrent training.
- Ensuring timely receipt of records of training of Flight Crew. Monitoring that flight crew certification, qualifications training and currency requirements are complied with prior to scheduling the crew for flight duties.
- Monitor deviations between Planned and Actual crew rosters and institute a process to minimize changes.
- Arrange hotel accommodation and travel bookings for Flight Ops Staff on duty.
- Institute procedures to enhance automation of crew scheduling to maximize crew utilization and optimization of operating costs.
Generate monthly reports of hours flown by Flight Crew and expenditure involved in hotel accommodation and travel and forward the same to GM-Fit Ops.
- Any other duties as assigned by GM-Flt Ops.
